tilder is run by [OWNER NAME] ("we"). This page says what we collect, why, and what we never see.

What we never see

What you type in a terminal, the files you open or edit, what you copy between machines. That traffic goes between your browser and your machines, encrypted end to end; a relay, when used, carries only ciphertext.

What we keep, and why

• Your account: a random account id, your devices' and machines' public keys and names, the certificates your root signed, and your root key wrapped under your recovery code and passkeys (which we cannot open). To let your devices and machines find and trust each other.
• Connection data: which machines are online, and the IP addresses devices and machines connect from, kept for [RETENTION] for abuse limits and debugging.
• Your workspaces' layout, sealed with a key only your devices hold.
• Email, only if you write to us.

What we do not do

No analytics or advertising in the console. No selling or sharing of data. The website (tilder.dev) may count page views without cookies.

Where it lives

The server runs on [HOSTING / REGION]; relays are provided by Cloudflare. [LIST OF PROCESSORS]

Your choices

Remove devices in Settings → Devices. To delete your account and its data, write to support@tilder.dev.
